A truely modern bar and grill steeped in history.

A pub has been situated at No.86 Duleek St since the mid 1700s. Most notably owned by a renowned eccentric known as The Barber (Thomas Callan). A man, made famous by his antics during World War 2. He drank all the pub's whisky rations himself. Closing for business the day they arrived and reopening when he sobered up due to his supply running out. He repeated this procedure the next delivery day... thus beer was the only staple for his customers. How things have changed. The current pub has one of the largest selections of spirits in the North-east.

The Pheasant is a long established landmark Pub on Drogheda's south side. They have a cosy bar with warm glowing fire and cool pints. A large spacious contemporary lounge/dining area with entertainment on most nights. Huge beer garden with ample heated smoking facilities.

Their function room is available to hire for all your needs. Parties and meetings. Competitive party packages are available in probably the best function room in Drogheda. Perfect for smaller groups of 100 or less.

Table layout will suit the number of guests and the staff put a lot of effort into making your special occasion, truly special. The Pheasant staff can assist with DJ hire, balloons, cakes etc., or just supply the food and let you make your own arrangements. They offer finger food, hot and cold buffets, as well as a full sit down experience. A party for every budget and taste!

Directions for cars coming from the north or south: Get off the M1 at junction 8. Follow the signs for Drogheda and in 2.4k (or 4 minutes) you will see The Pheasant on the left. Turn left and left again to access the amply spaced car park.
