Foleys is a friendly family run pub (some say it’s a country pub in a town) with over thirty three years’ experience in the business, we have friendly staff with great personalities and we have even greater clientele who know how to enjoy themselves in our relaxed and fun loving environment. We have a mixture of young and old so plenty of stories told of the present and the past. We have strong ties with the local community, especially the local sporting events and teams. We sponsor the local soccer team Abbey Celtic, and the local GAA team the Oliver Plunketts. We show all sports on our wide screen TVs in all areas. We also have two great pool tables so you can show off your pool skills, and numerous dart boards so that you can show off your dart skills, but luckily the darts and pool table are in a room of their own so you don’t have to be good at either, just enjoy and have the craic which is very popular with our customers. There is also a very pleasant rooftop beer garden which can be enjoyed in all seasons, especially in the summer time as it’s a real sun trap and makes our cool frosted pints taste much more refreshing, so don’t forget to lotion. We host a range of different local musicians every Saturday night, always a great buzz and always greatly enjoyed. As we like to support things local we do stock local craft beers.
