Overlooking the viaduct bridge for over 100 years, Grennans Bar was owed by the Winters family for the better part of a century. In 2007 the Grennans family took over. Originally being a thatched building the pub has changed quite a bit over the years. Now a vibrant place buzzing with life and visited by both the young and older crowds it is a place that caters to all. Filled with comfortable seats and a large open fire it’s the perfect place to settle into on a cold and wet day!

Watch any of your favourite events on one of our many TV screens. Whatever your preference be it football, rugby or racing. Just ask and we’ll do our best to find whatever channel you’re looking for!

Why not relax in our Lounge area? The lounge is a large space with high ceilings and a stove located in the corner. Provided with a long bar and two large screens with surround sound it’s a great place to watch your favourite sporting events. Available for functions upon request and food & entertainment can be arranged if needed.

On a rare sunny day we also have a fabulous beer garden for you to enjoy. It’s our worst kept secret that we have one of the few beer gardens in Drogheda witha garden of grass and trees for you to relax in. It’s very spacious and is perfect for any outdoor events including concerts, parties, BBQ’s etc. Overlooked by a log cabin and bar with designated smoking areas it’s the perfect place to enjoy an evening out. Worried about getting cold? Don’t be! We have heated seats to keep you nice comfortable on chilly nights

We also have a soon to be renovated games room featuring some Rings and Dart boards, perfect way to unwind during the week with a bit of fun!
